Abstract

Seventeen potato genotypes were grown at three locations, Bornova, Menemen and Bozdağ representing the western Turkey in 1989 and 1990. Stability parameters were estimated for yield. The results indicated that the 1-27, 1- 42 and 1-44 crosses originated from Cosima x R.143 had the highest performance in favorable environments with good stability. R. Burbank cultivar and the 2-1, 2-4, 1-43, 5-18, 9-5, 10-38 and 9-55 clones were found to be suitable for unfavorable environments.
