Abstract

At present, the rise and development of domestic family farms has become an important trend in the development of agricultural modernization. Taking rice planting as an example, in this paper, the data of fixed observation points in the rural areas of China in 2011 used to select a total of 9667 valid family farm samples, then the Tobit model is utilized to perform regression analysis to evaluate the economic benefits of government subsidies to family farm production from a policy perspective. Finally, case studies show that there is a significant positive correlation between government subsidies and family farm rice production efficiency, that is, as the number of subsidies increases, rice production efficiency will further improve. It is further recommended to improve the financing system and agricultural insurance system for family farms, at the same time, to promote the construction of agricultural infrastructure by introducing the emerging public infrastructure fund model, and further strengthen the socialized agricultural production services.
