EVALUATION AND UPGRADE PATH OF AGRICULTURAL SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN NORTHERN HEBEI BASED ON EUROPEAN DISTANCE METHOD

Abstract

In recent years, with the continuous acceleration of the process of agricultural modernization, the issue of sustainable development of agriculture is very important. Especially for the northern part of Hebei, which is dominated by agriculture, in the process of agricultural production, the application of land irrigation, fertilizers, pesticides, agricultural films, etc. is inevitable, and the contradiction between agricultural economic development and ecological environment is more prominent. The purpose of this paper is to study the evaluation and upgrade path of agricultural sustainable development in northern Hebei based on the European distance method. This article first explores the meaning and goals of sustainable agricultural development, and then studies the geographical location, natural conditions, and socio-economic conditions of northern Hebei. Then it analyzes the design principles and construction basis of the agricultural sustainable development evaluation system. Based on this, this paper builds an evaluation model of agricultural sustainable development in northern Hebei based on the European distance method. The experimental results prove that the evaluation model proposed in this paper is feasible. The experimental part is based on the agricultural data from 2000 to 2018 in the northern Hebei region, and the sustainable development evaluation of the agricultural population, resources, society, economy, environment and integrated systems was conducted, and the sustainable development evaluation score of the integrated agricultural system was obtained from 0.24 increased to 0.74. It can be seen that the level of sustainable agricultural development in northern Hebei has been greatly improved during 2000-2018.
